Navarro Doubles Through Tamayo

Jonathan Tamayo raised and then Rolando Navarro reraised from the button. Tamayo made it four bets and then Navarro called all in.

Navarro held the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and was behind, but racing against the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} of Tamayo. The board ran out {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and Navarro spiked a king on the river to stay alive and double up. Tamayo dropped to 18,000 chips.

Buchman Takes One

A player raised from the cutoff seat and then the small blind called before Eric Buchman called from the big blind as well. The flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and action checked around. The {5-Diamonds} hit the turn and action checked to the preflop raiser. He bet and the small blind folded. Buchman put in a raise and it was good enough to take down the pot right there to move him up to 62,000 chips.

Lauria Picked Off

From the hijack seat, Bob Lauria raised and then Joseph Chaplin reraised from the small blind. Lauria made the call and the two were off to the flop. It came {A-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Chaplin fired. Lauria raised him and Chaplin called.

The {3-Spades} fell on the turn and the {9-Diamonds} on the river. Chaplin check-called bets on each street from Lauria.

"You win," said Lauria after Chaplin made the final call on the river. Chaplin then showed the {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Lauria mucked, dropping back to 17,000 chips. Chaplin increased to 44,000.

Joshua Honegger raised and Eric Menser called from the big blind. The two saw a flop of {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. Menser bet out and Honegger called. Menser: {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
