Matros Looking Strong

From under the gun, Matt Matros raised and then Kenneth Krouner reraised from middle position. Bob Lauria called from the big blind and then Matros called as well.

The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Lauria checked. Matros checked and then Krouner bet. Lauria called and then Matros raised. Krouner called and Lauria called.

The turn added the {Q-Spades} to the board and Lauria checked to Matros who bet out. Krouner called and then Lauria folded after some deliberation.

The river completed the board with the {8-Clubs} and Matros bet. Krouner made the call, but mucked when Matros tabled his flush with the {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. Krouner dropped to 54,000 and Lauria to 11,000.

Matros is now up to 115,000 and looking to go for his second bracelet of the 2010 WSOP. He won Event No. 12: $1,500 Limit Hold’em for $189,870 less than a week ago.
