2-7 Triple Draw

Daniel Alaei raised it up from under the gun before Lyle Berman re-raised from the cutoff position. The blinds folded and Alaei made the call.

Both players drew one, and a bet from Alaei followed. Berman made the call. Alaei was happy to stand pat as Berman took one again. Alaei fired a bet and Berman made the call.

On the final draw Alaei stood pat as Berman discarded one for the third time in the hand. Both players checked and Alaei tabled {9-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{3-} which was good to take it down. He's up to 1.43 million with Berman now on the short stack with 480,000.

Richey and Oppenheim Chop It Up

Omaha 8/b

John Juanda raised it up from middle position with David Oppenheim calling on the button and Brett Richey coming along in the big blind.

The flop fell {6-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Richey checked to Juanda who tossed a bet into the middle. Oppenheim called before Richey announced a raise. It didn't reduce the field as both opponents made the call.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and action checked to Oppenheim who bet out. Richey made the call as Juanda decided to avoid being stuck in the middle as he released his cards.

The river was the {J-Diamonds} and Richey led with a bet that Oppenheim quickly called. Richey showed {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{2-Hearts} as Oppenheim flipped {2-Clubs}{3-}-X-X for the nut low. Chop it up boys!
