Timothy Flanders Eliminated in 15th Place ($12,258)

Timothy Flanders returned from break with just 35,000 chips and got them all in the middle preflop against John "Tex" Barch.

Showdown
Flanders: {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}
Barch: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

The {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop was a good sweat. Barch flopped top pair, but Flanders was double-gutted with a flush draw. The {A-Hearts} on the turn did not help Flanders and neither did the {K-Clubs} on the river however eliminating him in 15th place.

Flanders will have to settle with $12,258 in prize money.

Chase Steely Eliminated in 14th Place ($12,258)

Steeley has been chased out of the tournament, the man in pursuit being the wonderfully named Klinghammer Thibaut. Steely made the first incision, raising it up to 28,000 before being reraised by Klinghammer. Steely pushed all in for 62,000 and Klinghammer made the call.

On their backs and it was Klinghammer who had the goods, {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Spades}{6-Clubs} in dominating shape against the {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Spades} of Steely. The {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board was about as decisive as a Rooney strike on Saturday, and Steely was gone.

Pfister Needs a Medic

Five players saw a {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop on Table 369, and all five of them checked around.

After the {7-Clubs} turned though, Nenad Medic bet 16,000 when checked to. Denton Pfister raised to 45,000 and Medic was his only caller.

The river brought the {6-Diamonds} and Medic checked to Pfister who reached for a stack of orange T5,000 chips. He cut out 100,000 worth, but only slid in 20,000 at a time. The dealer stopped him and said that he could only bet the first 20,000-chip stack because it had to be one single motion.

Medic took the initiative and raised to 120,000. Pfister called and mucked when Medic showed {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a rivered straight.

Pfister slipped to 114,000 chips and Medic's up to 600,000.

Michael Mixer Eliminated in 13th Place ($12,258)

Thomas Redfern
Thomas Redfern

You can throw Michael into the mix of recent eliminations; he's just been despatched courtesy of Thomas Redfern.

With Redfern bumping it up to 20,000, Mixer came over the top for 65,000 and Redfern called. After the obligatory hesitation, cards were revealed: {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} for Redfern, {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{Q-} for Mixer.

Despite the promise of some post-flop fun and frolics, the board was about as uneventful as it gets, the {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} providing the rail with little in the way of excitement and sending Mixer home.

Big Bet Poker

Five players limped in preflop, including Denton Pfister and Tyler Patterson in the blinds. Everyone checked the {A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop, but Peter Costa took a stab on the {7-Spades} turn with a behemoth of a bet: 8,000. Nenad Medic and Christian Harder folded, but Pfister and Tyler Patterson made the call.

The river was the {J-Spades}, and with both players checking, Costa decided to up the ante by leading for 13,000. This time he received just the one call from Patterson, who quickly mucked his hand upon being shown a triumphant {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{4-Spades}.

Costa - 540,000
Patterson - 180,000

Don't Mess With Tex

Chris Hyong Chang opened to 24,000 from the cutoff and John "Tex" Barch potted from the button. The blinds released and so too did Chang, but he was non-too pleased.

The very next hand Chang opened to 24,000 and this time Barch made the call.

Both players checked the {K-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop and the {J-Spades} turn, but Chang led for 34,000 on the river. Barch raised to 84,000, Chang re-raised 95,000 more and Barch called all in.

Chang's hand hit the muck as soon as Barch called and we never saw a winner. Barch sent his cards into the muck as he raked in a pot that pushed him over 600,000 chips.
