Denton Pfister Eliminated in 9th Place ($19,259)

It was a short day for our second shortest stack.

Nenad Medic called from middle position and John "Tex" Barch raised to 40,000 near the button. Denton Pfister re-raised to 120,000 and Medic folded. Barch made the call.

The dealer wrapped the table then flopped {6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{A-Spades}. Pfister only had 37,000 behind and moved all in. Barch called and the hands were turned up:

Showdown
Barch: {A-Spades}{2-Clubs}{K-Spades}{8-Spades}
Pfister: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

Barch's two pair was in the lead, and the {K-Clubs} on the turn didn't change anything. Pfister received no help from the {4-Spades} on the river either, and was eliminated in ninth place.

Barch is off to another quick start, and after the knockout has 700,000 chips.
