Mizzi Doubles Through Heimiller, Remains Short

Dan Heimiller: {q-Clubs}{9-Spades} / {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} / {10-Hearts}
Sorel Mizzi: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} / {7-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} / {j-Clubs}

A short raising war between Sorel Mizzi and Dan Heimiller had Mizzi all in on third street. They turned that cards up and waited for the rest of their respective hands to be dealt.

"Straight!" announced Heimiller as he turned over his last down card, revealing the {10-Hearts} which did not make a straight. A pair of sixes was the best he could do.

"Doesn't matter," said Mizzi, who was now holding trip jacks.

Mizzi doubled up to around 150,000, although he lost a small pot to Christine Pietsch next hand to drop him back to 110,000. Heimiller was sitting on 135,000 after that.
