While he's a formidable opponent, he's not the only PokerStars Pro from Argentina to pose a threat. Near the chip lead is his countryman, or should I say woman, Team PokerStars Pro Argentina Veronica Dabul with 20,000.
Also present is team PokerStars Pro France, Arnaud Mattern. He also has a sizable stack of 15,100.
Veronica Dabul raised to 400 and was called by the small blind. The player in the big blind then raised to 1,500 and both Dabul and the small blind made the call.
The three players saw a flop of and the small blind led out for 1,800. The big blind folded and Dabul raised all in. The small blind folded and Dabul increased her stack to 21,500.
David Singer was under the gun and raised to 500. Seat 7 then rereaised to 1,500. When action folded back around to Singer, he moved all in. Seat 7 called for his remaining 6,900 and the two flipped over their cards:

Nguyen got it all in preflop with and his opponent showed . The flop came , a brutal board for Nguyen. Only running aces could save Nguyen, but the turn and river brought running 9's instead.

With England and the United States tying, Matt Affleck can now focus on poker.

Affleck calls showing for a pair of tens, and his opponent flips over for a set of 2's and the winning hand. "That's alright, you're still my hero," a player at Affleck's table said to him after the hand.
Affleck is now left with 500 chips and one admirer.
