Airball Exit For Eisele as Rosenthal Roars To Chip Lead!

Jaymes Rosenthal raised to 5,800 from under the gun with Herman Eisele making the call on the button.

They saw a flop of {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn brought a repeat {Q-Hearts} and Rosenthal fired out 9,800. Eisele wasn't giving up that easily as he raised to 20,000, but Rosenthal made the call.

The river landed the {9-Diamonds} and Rosenthal checked to Eisele who declared himself all in. The bet was determined to be 67,200 and Rosenthal tanked before find a call with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}. It was a great call as Eisele showed {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for the airball!

Eisele exits as Rosenthal becomes our clear chip leader with 289,000 chips!

Kings the Kiss of Death for Yunis

Nick Yunis bet out on an {8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, and a player in middle position moved all in. The button ducked out of the way, leaving it to Yunis to call all in or fold. "I can't fold," he said. "I call." And Yunis was right, his {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} had been out-flopped by his opponent's {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. The {10-Hearts} turn and {5-Diamonds} river changed nothing, eliminating Yunis.

Pay Jump - 144 Players Remain

We've just made another pay jump as this tournament continues to progress at a rapid pace. As the 145th player hit the cashier we jumped up to a minimum payday of $2,960.

For full details of those are already cashed up and hitting the town please refer to the Payouts tab.

Ramage's Rampage Continues

A player fired 12,000 at a {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop, and Grayson Ramage called. The guy moved all in when the {5-Hearts} on the turn completed the flush draw, and Ramage, who was just slightly covered, called all in. His opponent tabled total air with {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, and Ramage was a lock with {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for two pair. The {3-Spades} on the river was meaningless, and Grayson doubled to 98,000.

Mattern Muted

Arnaud Mattern
Arnaud Mattern

That's all she wrote for Arnaud Mattern. It was an unceremonious exit for the Frenchman. He was down to 6,600 when he moved all in preflop with {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}. An opponent called with {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and spiked a king on the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. Mattern had straight outs, but the {7-Spades} turn and {4-Spades} river didn't get the job done.

Dasilva Diving

Daniel Dasilva opened in early position, and the button shoved over his raise for 38,700. Dasilva called with {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and was racing the other player's {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}. It was a pretty short race when the flop fell {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The {10-Hearts} and {3-Spades} that came next forced Dasilva to double up his opponent, dropping his own stack to 26,000.

Castro Cruising

After a player raised to 4,200, Eugene Castro reraised to 14,200. His opponent shipped it in, and Castro snapped with {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. The other player was none too happy to find his tournament life on the line and his {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} crushed. The board fell {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, sending the unhappy player with queens to the payout desk. Castro jumped up to 195,000 and the very top of the chip counts.

Queen Laura

Laura Cantero opened with a raise from middle position before the player on the button shoved all in for 49,700. Cantero went into the tank and started to throw some probing questions to her opponent.

The dealer cut her off saying, "You can't talk about the hand."

Cantero replied, "Well, what can we talk about? Weather? News?"

Cantero eventually mustered up a call and the cards were tabled.

Cantero: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Opponent: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The board arrived {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Cantero's queens hold as she sends another to the rail to now sit behind 175,000 chips.
