With registration now closed we are able to tell you that 1,358 people signed up to play today. Put them in a room with yesterday's crowd of 1,931 and we have a total field of 3,289.
So far we are down to 708 in today's field. We can expect that number to continue to fall as the blinds keep rising.
As for prize pools, first place is going to pay a whopping $503,389. How's that for a return on investment? In total, 342 people are going to take home a piece of the $2,960,100 prize pool.
