Cassidy Gets Nuts

Joe Cassidy was one of three players (along with Brett Richey and Ted Lawson) to call a pre-flop raise made by Chris Ferguson. Ferguson had second action on a flop of {7-Clubs} {k-Hearts} {a-Spades} and chose to bet. Richey and Cassidy, in position behind Ferguson, called to the {q-Diamonds} turn. The action checked all the way to Cassidy, whose bet was called two ways.

On the river {9-Hearts} action checked to Cassidy again. This time only Ferguson called Cassidy's bet. Cassidy tabled {q-Spades} {j-Clubs} {j-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}, a Broadway straight and the nuts. He was pushed the whole pot after Ferguson mucked.

Cassidy is up to about 43,000.
