Un-luckychewy

Not so lucky today for chewy!
Not so lucky today for chewy!

Andrew 'luckychewy' Lichtenberger opened to 300 from the cutoff only to have the big blind three-bet to 650.

Lichtenberger moved all in for 3,025 and his opponent double-fist-pump-snap-called.

Lichtenberger: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} to see Lichtenberger bumped from the tournament.

Steindl Slips

A short-stacked player raised to 350 from middle position and the action folded to Johannes Steindl in the big blind. After examining the original raiser's stack, Steindl grabbed a large stack of T500 chips and moved all in for effectively 2,100. His opponent snapped it off.

Showdown
Steindl: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Opponent: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The flop fell {5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, no help for Steindl, but the {8-Spades} brought a gut-shot draw. The river blanked with the {2-Clubs} though, and Steindl slipped down to 12,200 chips.

Wake Up, Mr. West

Late registration is apparently for the cool kids.

In Level 3 we've spotted newcomers like Daniel Negreanu, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Phil Hellmuth, Chau Giang and Phil Ivey.

Swimming With Sharks

Scott Weissman is an amateur player from Miami, Florida with one major cash for $2,910. He decided to late register today and is sitting in Seat 4 at Table 108.

His tablemates you ask?

Lex "RaSZi" Veldhuis, Alexand Kravchenko, Andy Bloch, JC Tran and Ashton Griffin. We'd count their career earnings but we don't have that many fingers.

Welcome to the World Series of Poker Mr. Weissman!

Ngoc if you Buck

A player raised to 500 from under the gun and another player in the small blind called. Ngoc Tran moved all in for 1,575 and the original raiser called. The small blind released and the hands were turned over.

Showdown
Under the Gun: {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Tran: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

Tran's hand was ahead until the river where the {5-Clubs} fell and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Kling KO's Opponent

Facing a raise to 400, Lauren Kling bumped it to 1,175 from the small blind only to have her opponent move all in for a few more hundred.

Kling made the call tabling her {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} to dominate her opponent's {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

The final board of {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} would see Kling send her opponent to the rail while climbing to over 16,000 in chips.

'Krantz Bluffing

On a board of {6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs} following a check, bet of 675 and a call, Jay Rosenkrantz bumped it up from the button to 1,800.

One-by-one each player casually tossed their hand into the muck to see Rosenkrantz rake in the pot and move to over 11,000, but not before flashing his {J-Spades}{8-Spades} for a bluff.
