Billirakis Straightens Up

The board read {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} when Steve Billirakis led for 1,400. His opponent Matt Hawrilenko called and the dealer burned a card before dealing the {j-Spades} on the river.

Billirakis led again - this time for 3,500. Hawrilenko called and mucked when Billirakis showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a straight.

Hawrilenko slipped to 12,400 chips while Billirakis chipped up to 29,000.

Negreanu Doubles

Daniel Negreanu opened and a player moved all in over the top of him. Negreanu called and the hands were tabled:

Showdown

Opponent: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

The {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop all but ended the hand and it was official after the {2-Diamonds} turned. The {7-Spades} river was but a formality and Negreanu doubled to 15,000 chips.

The {3-Spades} fell on the river and Jaka led for a huge bet; 15,000. His opponent called for a third time but mucked when Jaka tabled {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a rivered full house.

There's no stopping Jaka right now, he's up to 80,000 chips.

One for Beantown

Survivor winner "Boston" Rob Mariano is in the field today and just doubled through an opponent on Table 49.

Mariano was all in with {K-Spades}{J-Spades} against an opponent's {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and the board ran {9-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

Clearly Mariano made a straight, but the dealer announced, "Ace high wins."

After a moment for clarification Boston Rob was awarded the pot and now sits with 20,000 chips.

Robl Chips Up

After entering the pot with a raise, Andrew Robl was soon faced with a 2,500-chip three-bet from an opponent on the button.

With the action back on Robl he took his time before bumping it 6,300 as his opponent went deep into the tank before finding a call.

The flop fell down {4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and after looking up his opponent's 9,000-chip stack, Robl fired out 3,050 only to prompt a fold from his opponent.

Robl is now up to 57,000 in chips.
