King Solomon

Jarred Solomon opened to 19,000 from under the gun and Sorel Mizzi three-bet to 42,000 from middle position. John Eames moved all in for over 200,000 from the big blind and Solomon re-shoved having all players covered. Mizzi folded and the hands were tabled:

Showdown
Solomon: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}
Eames: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Eames hit the rail.

Solomon is now very strong with 565,000 chips.

Railbirds

The rail here in the red section of the Amazon Room hasn't let up since play began. The Brits are here in full force railing Martins Adeniya and of course there's a slew of folks crowded around Daniel Negreanu's table trying to catch some action.

Nine-Ball

Martins Adeniya was all in and behind again, this time was against Alexander Wilson preflop.

Showdown
Adeniya: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Wilson: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Adeniya binked a two-outer on the {2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop and the turn and river came {8-Diamonds}, {a-Clubs} doubling him to 275,000 chips and crippling Wilson.

Ironically, Adeniya eliminated Wilson the next hand.

Adeniya's On Fire

Martins Adeniya opened to 27,000 from under the gun and Luigi Caramatti shoved all in for 175,000. The big blind released and Adeniya snapped it off.

Showdown
Adeniya: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Caramatti: {J-Spades}{4-Hearts} (whoopsy)

The board ran {10-Hearts}{a-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Caramatti hit the rail.

Adeniya was on the brink of elimination just moments ago and now sits with 562,000 chips.

Negreanu Slips

The action folded to Daniel Negreanu who completed in the small blind. Tyler Witteman shoved for 184,000 from the big blind and Negreanu made the call.

Showdown
Negreanu: {A-Spades}{j-Spades}
Witteman: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Witteman doubled to 370,000 chips.

Bye Bye Mr. Robinson

Richard Robinson moved all in from the button for about 180,000 and found a caller in Justin Smith from the big blind.

Robinson: {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Smith: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Robinson was behind and looking for some help. The flop of {5-Spades}{7-Spades}{q-Hearts} wasn't it. Nor was the {5-Clubs} turn or the {j-Hearts} river.

Smith increased his stack to 690,000 while Robinson headed to the payout desk.

Huge Flip, Sick River

After a series of preflop raises, Sorel Mizzi and Taurean Davis were all in preflop with three-quarters of a million chips in the middle.

Showdown
Mizzi: {Q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Davis: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

The dealer wrapped the table then delivered a {5-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop.

"Seven!" Davis' rail pleaded.

The turn was not a seven, rather it was the {10-Spades}.

Davis' friends went silent with anticipation, but exploded when the {7-Clubs} spiked on the river.

The largest pot of the tournament was pushed in front of Davis and he is now our chip leader with 776,000 chips. Mizzi is left with just 160,000 after losing the hand.
