Huge Flip, Sick River

After a series of preflop raises, Sorel Mizzi and Taurean Davis were all in preflop with three-quarters of a million chips in the middle.

Showdown
Mizzi: {Q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Davis: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

The dealer wrapped the table then delivered a {5-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop.

"Seven!" Davis' rail pleaded.

The turn was not a seven, rather it was the {10-Spades}.

Davis' friends went silent with anticipation, but exploded when the {7-Clubs} spiked on the river.

The largest pot of the tournament was pushed in front of Davis and he is now our chip leader with 776,000 chips. Mizzi is left with just 160,000 after losing the hand.
