Groysman Evens the Stacks
Braxton Dunaway checked the turn of the board and his sole opponent Zvi Groysman bet a pot-sized 40,000. Dunaway thought about it for a long, long time, but eventually folded.
Dunaway and Groysman are at 130,000 apiece.

Jared Hamby had a short-stacked player all-in preflop back at Table 326 and the hands were shown down:
Hamby:
Shorty:
The board ran and Hamby's stack dropped down to 90,000 chips.
Eric "basebaldy" Baldwin eliminated Jon Friedberg moments ago in a standard race situation. We missed the board unfortunately, but Baldwin's out ran Friedberg's .
After a series of raises, a player moved all-in on Joseph Elpayaa who called holding . His opponent had him dominated with .
The the flop brought all undercards; . The turn brought paint though, and with the Elpayaa snatched the lead away. The did not come on the river, rather it was the .
Elpayaa recorded another knockout and his stack grew to 150,00 chips.
Back to 120,000 for Dan Lu as his pocket nines held up against a short-stacked player's on a raggy board.
It folded around to Jordan Morgan in the cutoff who raised. The button passed, but the David Arnold in the small blind now pushed for his whole 60,000 stack. The big blind folded, but Morgan, only just covered, snap-called all in with , which presumably was not what Arnold had been hoping would happen. He turned over .
Now concentrate! Here comes the outdraw bit.
Board:
Oh dear. Morgan's two pair by the end of the board was no match for Arnold's luckbox straight, and he found himself eliminated. Arnold meanwhile all but doubled to 120,000.
Thomas Joanides started the day among the chip leaders but has since slipped mightily, falling all the way to 7,300 chips.
That changed when Joanides doubled through Lee Markholt after Markholt opened to 6,000 on the button. Joanides shoved from the big blind, Markholt tossed in the extra 1,300 chips and the hands were shown down:
Joanides:
Markholt:
The flop gave Joanides a lead with a pair of nines. The on the turn missed Markholt and after a meaningless fell on the river, Joanides was awarded the pot.
Joanides is still far from the top, but with 21,000 chips he can breath a little easier. Markholt is now down to 60,000 chips himself.
Drawn to an enormous pot like little poker-blogging bugs to a lightbulb, we got to the table just in time to see a flop reading .
"I'm all in," said Thomas Joanides.
"OK," said Zvi Groysman, who looked as though at least half his stack had gone in preflop anyway.
So, to showdown.

River:
Groysman doubled to around 130,000. Former big stack Joanides, however, was reduced to just 11,000.
Jared "TheWacoKidd" Hamby moved to Table 326 just in the nick of time.
A few hands after sitting down Hamby was dealt and was all in preflop against a short-stacked player holding and another player with around 40,000 chips who held .
The board ran and Hamby recorded the double knockout, increasing his chip total to around 120,000.
Dan Lu has taken a 17,000 hit after doubling up a short stack, Lu's pocket fours against pocket sevens with no change on the board.
Lu laughed it off, though, and indeed he's still in good shape on 93,000.
