Inclement Weather
Michael Diclemente got his last in good with against Ashira Lavine's and he was looking good to double up until the river of the board.
"All right, gentlemen, ladies," he sighed, standing to leave, "See ya."

Almost as soon as Drew Crawford had finished compiling his stack, he was having to dismantle it again, all his 25,000 green chips sailing across the felt to Horst Eilers. I didn't catch the preflop action, but when the cards were flipped, it was Horst who had his man by the short and curlies, pocket queens in commanding shape against pocket tens. A board was of no use, and Crawford's stack was dissected in half. Horst, meanwhile, is right up there with the chip leader with circa 600,000 in chips.
After doubling up early, Nick Gandhi has now further increased his stack to 470,000 by knocking out a short-stacked Jim Erickson.
Gandhi:
Erickson:
Board:
"Yes!" said Gandhi as Erickson busted, but with rather more dignity than some in a similar spot.
Timothy Fierro has been eliminated in rather standard fashion, one might say, running into the of Dash Dudley and unable to improve on an ensuing board. Dudley now making a (ahem) dash for the chip lead with 710,000.
Josh Roberts has just doubled up with those American Airlines, flying straight into the of Thomas McCann and avoiding a crash landing on a board. As a result, McCann has dipped to 115,000, whilst Roberts is now flying high with 400,000.
Jae Hwang opened for 25,000 in mid position only for Cory Brown to make it 61,000 to go from the button. It folded back around to Hwang, who four-bet another 71,000 on top. Brown called, and they saw a flop.
Flop:
Hwang bet out 65,000, and Brown promptly went all in to cover him. Hwang called all in, and they turned their cards over.
Poker can be a funny old game.
Hwang: for an overpair
Brown: {8s) for trips
Turn:
River:
Hwang hit the rail, and Brown moved into the lead on 800,000.
Michael Michnick raised it up from middle position to 36,000; Gabe Costner called in the small blind; Dash Dudley made it 86,000 in the big. The action folded back around to Michnick who moved all in, which was enough for Costner to step out of the way, but not Dudley who made the call.
On their backs and it was coin flip time, Dudley with his nose slightly in front with versus . But in the end, it was Michnick who had his toast buttered the right side, the board coming to deliver him a double up (to 740,000), and Dudley a double down (to 550,000).
Game on.
In one of those blind-on-blind confrontations that turn massive in the blink of an eye, Eric "Basebaldy" Baldwin (big blind) and Terry Fleischer (small blind) got all the chips in preflop for Baldwin's tournament life.
Baldwin:
Fleischer:
Board:
The ace on the flop was good to secure Baldwin a double up to 504,000. Fleischer meanwhile dropped to 280,000.
If there was one table you wouldn't want to be on, it's Table 319 where most of the chip leaders seem to be lying in wait, concealed by mountains of chips yet blood-thirsty for more.

Robert "E-Dolo" Scott moved in preflop, and found himself up against an even shorter-stacked Tony Gargano in a classic coinflip, Scott's up against Gargano's . Scott duly spiked, and Gargano duly exited the tournament.
