We lost a total of 115 players during that last hour, which means 440 remain from the 1,744 who began Day 1b. After starting the day filling much of the huge Pavilion, the tournament is now being played out here in the far right corner of the ballroom on fewer than 50 tables.
Three more one-hour levels to go. A reminder: the top 441 finishers make the money in Event No. 3. 276 players made it through yesterday, so tourney officials don't want to see today's field edge too close to the 165-player mark before we end Level 10 today.
