There's an eerie silence in this particular corner of the Amazon Room today, players either too busy wiping the sleep from their eyes, or suddenly acknowledging the fact that we're now deep into the 'business end' of the tournament.
Whilst Drew Crawford spent most of the first couple of orbits constructing his gargantuan stack, Ashira Lavine strode in late with a slight puff (I sensed a canter through the Rio) and asked, "What did I miss?" Well, the answer is not much, as it's been a very cagey start with just a few blinds nicked. On one hand, Deepak Bhatti opened the button to 27,000, only for Horst Eilers to make it 60,000 from the small blind, and Bhatti to subsequently pass, but apart from that, it's been pretty quiet on the feature table thus far.
