Captain Scott Sent Off

Robert Scott
Robert Scott

The charismatic Robert Scott certainly made his mark on the tournament with his repeated celebrations and overexcited rail, but he'll now be making his mark on the exit as his venture in the opening $1,000 event comes to an abrupt end.

With Scott flat calling under the gun with {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}, Deepak Bhatti pushed all in from the small blind for 124,000 with {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}, and Scott made the call. "Uptown, baby!" exclaimed Scott, referencing the Bronx, as the dealer popped a {4-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Hearts} onto the felt, but his request fell on stony ground as the turn and river came {2-Diamonds} and {9-Hearts} respectively.

Down to 380,000, Scott then found himself involved in a raising war with Adaam Daya, Scott accompanied by two ladies ({Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}), but running headfirst into the bullets ({A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}) of Daya. Again, the {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} board was of no use, and "E-Dolo" was gone, but not forgotten.
