Double up for Yee

James Lee opened the pot and Edward Yee re-popped for an additional 6,300 chips. Lee called.

The flop ran out {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Lee fired a 5,500-chip bet. Yee went all in for an additional 8,200 chips and was called.

Showdown
Yee: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Lee: {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The turn card was a {5-Spades} and the river card a {7-Hearts}, giving Yee a double up. Lee slipped to 28,000 and Yee is now up to 27,000 chips.

Five High? No Good!

With the board reading {2-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts} Jeff Sluzinski fired a 4,200-chip bet and Frederic Bussot called on the button. The turn card was {8-Clubs} and both players checked.

The river brought a {j-Diamonds} to the table and Sluzinski check-called a 10,000-chip bet from Bussot.

Bussot tabled {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Sluzinski {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Pot for Sluzinski, who is now up to 71,000 chips.

All In and Call!

"All in and call table 354!"

Nah, just kidding.

The action so far on the bubble - understandably - has been extremely slow.

Walking round the room, we found that there are at least ten stacks that sit with fewer then ten big blinds!

Hitting The Rail

We unfortunately missed the exact nature of how it happened, but the following players have been eliminated.

Frank Rusnak, John Brooks, Matthew LaGarde, Lorne Thompson and Charles Mitchell are all now on the rail.

Dannen Doubles

Leon Dannen opened to 3,400 from middle position only to be three-bet to 9,000 from an opponent in the small blind.

Dannen moved his last 22,100 into the pot and after a lengthy thought process, his opponent made the call.

Dannen: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Opponent: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} to see Dannen double through to over 46,000 in chips.
