Salzer Comes Out Ahead in Big Pot

Razz

Russ Salzer recently came out on top of a monster hand that saw him take a pile of chips from George Lind while sending Paul Dewald to the rail.

George Lind: (X)-5-3 / 8-A-2-A
Russ Salzer: 4-7-6 / 3-A-2-3
Paul Dewald: (XXX) / 8-6-10-6

Salzer got things started with a raise on third street and was called by both Dewald and Lind. On fourth street Lind led out with a bet and was raised by Salzer. Dewald and Lind both made the call.

Lind bet again on fifth street, Salzer called, as did Dewald, putting himself all in. Lind bet on sixth and seventh streets with Salzer calling both times.

Despite leading the betting all the way through, Lind didn't come out with the best hand and had to concede the pot to Salzer.
