Lennaard Doubles through Mizrachi

Stud 8/b

By the time Robert Mizrachi and Ken Lennaard (the two players interested in playing the $10,000 Heads-Up championship that had to take refunds due to their deep run in this event) reached fifth street, they raised until Lennaard was all in. Lennaard showed two pair, {q-Hearts} {q-Diamonds} / {a-Spades} {j-Diamonds} {j-Hearts}, and was in great shape against Mizrachi's pair of kings with no low draw. It got even better for Lennaard on sixth street when Mizrachi bricked and Lennaard improved to aces and queens. That left Mizrachi looking for a king on the river, a card he did not find.

Lennaard is up to about 200,000.
