Split It Up

David Singer and Craig Marquis were both eliminated on the same hand and will split the $10,171 for 54th place.

Ship the $85 profit.

Singer called a 6,500-chip raise in the big blind from Isaac Haxton preflop. The flop fell {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Singer checked to Haxton who moved all in for effectively 28,000. Singer called.

Showdown
Haxton: {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Singer: {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Singer was ahead until the turn brought the {j-Clubs} giving Haxton two pair. The {k-Spades} bricked on the river and Singer hit the rail.

At an adjacent table Marquis was all in and racing with {7-}{7-} against the {a-}{q-} of Joseph Ebanks. There was an ace on the flop and Marquis couldn't find an eight on the turn or river eliminating him from the tournament.

Now that the bubble is burst we anticipate a lot of action especially from the shorter stacks that limped into the money.

Charder Cracks Buchanan

As soon as the bubble burst, Shawn Buchanan got his 60k in preflop with {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} against Christian Harder's {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. Should have been good for a nice post-bubble double, but the {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop had something to say about that. The running kings that came on the turn and river made Charder a full house and sent Buchanan packing in 53rd place. Charder is up to 330,000.

Graham With Da_Suckout

Chris "da_professional" Iacobellis had Matt Graham all in and at risk preflop holding {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. Graham was well behind with {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and after the flop and turn the board was {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

The {a-Spades} spiked on the river though, and Iacobellis was crippled down to 25,000 chips. He busted soon after.

Graham is now up to 135,000.

The Master

The Master
The Master

Men "The Master" Nguyen has just eliminated two players in consecutive hands.

In the first hand, Nguyen had Toto Leonidas all in preflop. Nguyen held {a-}{j-} and was racing against Leonidas' {8-}{8-}. The Master flopped two pair, and Leonidas hit the rail.

The very next hand Benjamin Spindler opened to 7,205 on the button and Nguyen called in the big blind. The flop fell {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Nguyen checked to Spindler who shoved for 36,000. Nguyen called.

Showdown
Spindler {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Nguyen: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The turn and river came {j-Clubs}, {2-Hearts} respectively and Nguyen eliminated Spindler.

Ellis Out

There was over 100,000 in the pot and the board was {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades} when Helen Ellis was all in and at risk against Paul Sheng.

Sheng caught a straight on the turn with {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Ellis was behind with a flopped set of sixes. The board didn't pair on the river, and Ellis hit the rail.

Sheng is now our massive chip leader with 790,000 chips.

Behling Busted

Nico Behling got 134,700 chips in pre with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} against the pocket kings of Samlane Phomveha. The {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop gave him some outs, but the running fives that came next meant Phomveha had a better two pair. Behling was left with 1,000 chips, which he disposed of the next hand. Phomeveha is up to 270,000.

De Paz Done For

Jose De Paz moved all in under the gun for around 30,000, and Evan Panesis looked him up on the button. Jose was racing for his tournament life with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} against Evan's {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. The flop was bad news for him, coming {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}. The {10-Diamonds} turn and {4-Hearts} river changed nothing, and De Paz was eliminated. Panesis is now sitting behind 340,000.
