Orlando Delacruz Eliminated in 5th Place ($117,595)

Orlando Delacruz - 5th Place
Orlando Delacruz - 5th Place

One hand after doubling Mark Radoja, Orlando Delacruz was all in in the big blind. Jeff Papola limped, and Radoja completed his small blind, giving Delacruz a chance to triple up. Papola and Radoja were heads up for the side pot. The flop came {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Radoja checked, and Papola bet 150,000, which was enough to take the side pot and get to showdown with Delacruz. Orlando may have started with a better hand, {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, but Papola outflopped him with {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, giving him a pair of deuces. The {a-Hearts} on the turn didn't change anything, nor did the {q-Diamonds} on the river. Delacruz was sent home from his first career final table in fifth place, good for $117,595.
