"Diamonds?"

Robert Belton limped in middle position, as did Carole Wueste. The small blind limped and Keith Uchima checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and all players checked. When the {2-Diamonds} came on the turn, the small blind bet and Uchima bet 5,000. Belton made the call and everyone else got out of the way.

The {7-Diamonds} came on the river and Uchima moved all in for his last 5,100. Belton instantly called. "Diamonds?" asked Uchima as he turned over {6-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a flopped straight.

Belton stared at the bored before mucking his cards. Uchima increased his stack to around 26,000.

Johnston and Spadavecchia at the Same Table

Berry Johnston
Berry Johnston

John Spadavecchia limped from early position as did Jim Stephens. Robert Irby then moved all in from the small blind for around 26,000.

Berry Johnston folded his big blind and it was back to Spadavecchia, who asked for a count and then went into the tank. Spadavecchia opted to muck and so did Stephens. Irby increased his stack a few thousand, but will have his work cut out for him with both Johnston and Spadavecchia at his table.

Schneider Loses One

Tom Schneider
Tom Schneider

Action folded to Tom Schneider in middle position and he raised to 3,000. Everyone folded to Kenneth Billings in the big blind who made the call.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. Billings checked and Schneider bet 4,500. Billings called and the turn was the {2-Diamonds}. Both players checked to the {Q-Clubs} on the river.

Billings checked and Schneider bet 9,500. Billings called and turned over {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for an ace-high flush. Schneider mucked, but is still sitting with almost 100,000 in chips.

Will the Real Old Timer Please Stand Up

The tournament director just took a poll of the remaining players in an attempt to determine the oldest remaining player.

First, he asked everyone to stand up. From there he instructed anyone under the age of 60 to sit down, and so on and so forth. In the end, it was determined that three 80 year-old players remained: Harry Tomishima, Russel Morley and Walter Callam.

Now it remains to be seen if any of these old timers can survive to take down the tournament.
