Jetten Double-Doubles His Enjoyment

A preflop raising war broke out between Valdemar Kwaysser and Peter Jetten, and it ended with Jetten calling all in for his last 510,000 chips to put himself at risk of elimination.

Showdown
Kwaysser: {8-Hearts} {8-Spades}
Jetten: {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}

The flop was a big sweat for both players as it came out {4-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {10-Spades} to give Jetten the flush draw to go with his overs. "How about a heart," he said quietly.

Turn: {A-Diamonds}

It's not a heart, but Jetten will take that, improving himself to the leading pair of aces and putting himself one card from a double up. The river was a blank {10-Clubs}, and Jetten's tens full of aces give him the pot and the chip boost up to 1.065 million. That second double up this level pulls him almost even with Kwaysser and his 1.105 million chips.
