Great Scott

Justin Scott opened with a raise to 11,000, then Philip Jacobsen reraised all in. Scott called with his remaining stack, tabling {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. Jacobsen flipped over {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

The flop was {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Jacobsen was still ahead. But the {A-Clubs} turn gave Scott the advantage. The river was the {9-Clubs}, and Scott doubled to 335,000. Jacobsen falls to 115,000.

Heads Up Everywhere You Turn Your Head

The final six matches are all down to just two players each.

The winners will join the eight players who have already won seats in tomorrow's 14-person final round tourney -- Derric Haynie, Steven Kelly, Jeffrey King, Michael Cooper, Heinz Kamutzi, Paul Varano, J.C. Tran, and Johnny Kitchens.

Leman's Lucky Double

Tristan "Cre8ive" Wade had Reagan Leman against the ropes moments ago, but Leman luckily doubled through to stay alive.

Leman was all in and at risk preflop holding {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and was dominated by Wade's {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

The {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop was clean, but the {j-Clubs} on the turn pushed Leman into the lead. The {5-Clubs} bricked on the river and Leman doubled to 160,000 chips.

Wade is still in the lead with 290,000 however.

Winner: Kitchens Defeats Trickett

Johnny Kitchens was never above 50,000 until he was heads up with Samuel Trickett.

Now he has every chip on the table, advancing him to Day 3.

Trickett open-shoved with the button on the last hand and Kitchens made the call.

Showdown
Trickett: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Kitchens: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Trickett needed help, but received none from the {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} board eliminating him from the tournament.

Kitchens will return tomorrow as one of our final 14 runners.

Winner: J.C. Tran Makes the Final

J.C. Tran wins his table, earning a spot in tomorrow's final
J.C. Tran wins his table, earning a spot in tomorrow's final

J.C. Tran has earned his seat in tomorrow's final, having ousted Yasuhiro Waki. Waki was down to 90,000, and open-shoved with {10-}{9-} only to have Tran call him with {A-}{9-}. No ten came to rescue Waki, and he's out.

Giang Out; Wade and Leman Heads Up

Chau Giang raised to 11,000 from the button, then Tristan Wade -- who had Giang covered -- reraised all in from the small blind. Reagan Leman folded from the big blind, and Giang called with his remaining chips.

Giang {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Wade {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board brought all big cards -- {K-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} -- and Giang is out in third.

Heads up begins with Wade having a big advantage with 362,000 to Leman's 88,000.
