Michael Chappus - 4th Place
Michael Chappus - 4th Place

Michael Chappus raised from the button before Anders Taylor reraised all in from the small blind. After the big blind, John Gottlieb, folded, Chappus called and was all in.

Chappus held the {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. He was up against the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for Taylor.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts} and things didn't look good for Chappus. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and the river ended things with the {Q-Hearts}. Taylor stood and shook the hand of the defeated Chappus, who exited to the rail in fourth place and earned over $71,000 for his finish.

Anders Taylor Eliminated in 3rd Place ($97,913)

Anders Taylor - 3rd Place
Anders Taylor - 3rd Place

Anders Taylor raised the pot from the button and then Steve Jelinek reraised from the big blind to put Taylor all in. Taylor called off the small remainder of his stack and the hands were turned over.

Taylor held the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and was up against the {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for Jelinek.

The flop was huge for Jelinek when it came {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and gave him a full house. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and the river the {K-Clubs}. Taylor filed to improve on the turn and river, giving Jelinek the pot and eliminated Taylor on the hand.

Taylor earned just short of $100,000 for his third-place finish while Jelinek increased his lead going into heads-up play.

Jelinek Takes This One

On the second hand of heads-up play between Steve Jelinek and John Gottlieb, the action was potted preflop by Gottlieb on the button. Jelinek made the call. The flop went check, check after the {K-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} fell.

After the {Q-Diamonds} fell on the river, Jelinek fired out the pot for 360,000. Gottlieb tank-folded and the pot was pushed Jelinek's way.
