Get Ready for Event No. 41

Another day, another bracelet
Another day, another bracelet

It's the 25th day of the 2010 World Series of Poker and we're just about to kick off the day with the start of Event No. 41: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better. Last year, 762 entrants ponied up the buy-in for this event with Brandon Cantu claiming his first gold bracelet when it was all said and done. The numbers should be right around the same this year with plenty of notables in the field.

There's a little twist to the event though. Each player will receive an initial starting stack of 1,500 chips and then three add-on chips worth 1,000 each. A player may choose to add on any time during the first four levels however they'd like. You can use one bullet at a time, add on at the beginning and keep two, or add all three to your stack right from the get go, it's completely up to the player. We'll start everyone in our chip counts at 1,500, although some players may have 2,500, 3,500 or 4,500 as they starting stack depending on if they decide to use an add-on or not. If you don't use the add-on chips during the first four levels, they will be automatically awarded to you at the end of the fourth level.

Play kicks off at high noon here in Las Vegas and you can stay right here on PokerNews for all the chops and scoops you can handle.
