Even Chopping for High

Even the pots that you don't expect to chop sometimes chop in this game. Chad Brown was in the small blind for a limped three-way pot. The flop come {a-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {10-Hearts} and Brown, the first player to act, led for pot. The big blind folded, but the under-the-gun player called.

The turn came {9-Hearts} and again Brown led for pot, a sizable 900. Again the under-the-gun player called. Both players checked the {q-Spades} river. Brown turned over {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for aces and tens. But the pot chopped, despite no low on board, when the under-the-gun player also turned up aces and tens, {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.
