Ben Lamb Eliminated in 5th Place ($53,319)

Ben Lamb - 5th Place
Ben Lamb - 5th Place

Ben Lamb raised to 175,000 and Anders Taylor made the call. After the flop came down {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}, the two quickly got the money in the middle for another head-to-head battle.

Taylor held the {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} for the nut low and a spade flush draw along with a pair of fours. Lamb held the {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a straight draw, a weaker low and top pair.

The turn was the {K-Diamonds} and the river the {A-Spades}. The river made Taylor a spade flush along with the nut low, 6-4-3-2-A, and he scooped the entire pot. Not only did he win the pot, but Taylor also busted Lamb on the hand, who finished in fifth place for over $53,000 in winnings.
