Pezzin Dispensed

No-Limit

Pat Pezzin raised to 2,800 to open the pot, and Jim Collopy reraised enough to put Pezzin to the test. When the table folded back around to him, he called all in for his last ~25,000 chips.

Showdown
Pezzin: {10-Clubs} {10-Spades}
Collopy: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}

The flop was pretty safe for the at-risk Pezzin as it came out {J-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {2-Spades}. The turn {9-Diamonds} was a big sweat, though, giving Collopy a world of outs to score the knockout. The {8-Diamonds} river was most certainly one of those knockout outs, and Collopy's flush sends Pezzin out the door about a half hour earlier than the rest of the field.
