Remember when we said Table 369 was tough? Well they just added a PokerStars Team France Pro; Thomas Bichon.
Bichon sits with just under 40,000 chips and only makes our table of death even tougher.
Ben Roberts moved all in from middle position for 15,000 with , but ran into the of Failla who reraised all in from the hijack. An eventful board was close, but no cigar, and "The Gentleman" is out.
Failla's stack has been fluctuating of late, so he's still on 142,000 despite starting the day with slightly more.
Charles Kelley moved all in for 42,000 from the small blind after a player on the button opened to 4,100. Konstantin Puchkov called all in from the big blind and the original raiser folded.
Showdown
Kelley:
Puchkov:
The board ran and Kelley was left with just 10,000 chips.
We missed how he got the rest of them in, but he was no longer at his seat the next time we visited the table.
Post bubble has seen more action that a Die Hard boxset, and none more so than Table 359 who just witnessed a three-way all-in. It was short stack Dustin Choe who lit the first spark, pushing all in from under the gun. Janne Pitcko made the call one seat down, only for big blind Kevin Carlson to shove from the big blind. Again, Pitcko made the call.
As the cards were revealed, two faces grimaced simultaneously:
Carlson:
Choe:
Pitcko:
The flop favored the lone ranger, but as an hit the turn, Carlson yelped in delight. Choe remained silent.
The river improved their hands, but unnecessarily so, and as Pitcko was left out in the cold, Carlson picked up a nice side pot, whilst Choe took his share of the rest.
Carlson: 37,000
Choe: 16,500
Pitcko: 93,000
Andrey Medvedev open-shoved for his remaining 12,000 and a player in the big blind looked him up.
"I hope I have two live cards," the player told Medvedev.
Showdown
Medvedev:
Big Blind:
The player in the big blind was in fact dominated, and after the board ran , Medvedev doubled to 24,500.
Table 369 is right on the rail and currently only two people are watching it. The table may not look tough to the average passerby because there isn't a Phil Hellmuth or Daniel Negreanu seated there, but we know a good bunch when we see them.
At a second glance, we at least hope most people would notice that 2008 WSOP Player of the year Tom Schneider is in Seat 3. We don't expect most people to know his tablemates however, making them even more dangerous:
Seat 1 - Josh "brikdog24" Brikis
Seat 2 - Eric "blizair" Blair
Seat 6 - Casey "bigdogpckt5s" Jarzabek
Seat 7 - Eric "AvrilSharapova" Ladny
Seat 8 - John Myung
We are wishing the best of luck (or an early table break) for all of the players at Table 369.
Jorge Breda, who was responsible for everyone in the room but one making it to the money, has just made it a double K.O. by eliminating short stack Michael Bernal. Despite flopping a nut flush draw on the flop, Bernal's fell behind to the Brazilian's , and following a heart-less turn and river, he was gone.
Breda, is surfing the wave of good form with 139,000.
