Welcome to Event #45: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em

Welcome to Event #45. That's right, we've already reached the 45th event of this year's World Series of Poker. It's hard to believe we're already at this point. That said, there's still a lot of work to be done. We're not even close to the Main Event just yet, and for the people lining up outside the Pavilion to play today's event the work is just getting started.

$1,500 Events have been able to garner their fair share of media attention this year. Tom Dwan made a ton of noise when he final-tabled Event #11 and came a few hands away from potentially bankrupting Bobby's Room. We'll no doubt see a lot of familiar faces throughout the day as pros try to take advantage of the last dozen or so chances they have to take home a bracelet before the series concludes.
