Kevin Odell Eliminated in 4th Place ($228,614)

Kevin Odell
Kevin Odell

Despite doubling up moments ago, Kevin Odell found himself all in once again, this time against fan favorite Thiago Nishijima. On this occasion, he had the goods with {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} over a paltry {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

The {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop, however, favored the Brazilian and sent the rail into a wild frenzy unseen since the yellow and green last won the World Cup. The {10-Spades} hit the turn, and after a {3-Diamonds} river it was all over.

For the third time, the Brazilians stormed the stage in their masses, barging past Odell in the process. As they jumped aorund with their hero, singing and chanting, Odell scrambled out of his seat and exited stage left.

After the hand, the announcer issued the rail a warning about disrespecting the participants by charging into the playing area uninvited.
