Joe Ritzie Eliminated in 4th Place ($113,444)

Joe Ritzie - 4th place
Joe Ritzie - 4th place

Joe Ritzie kept shoving as many chips in pre-flop as he could. Eventually, he'd stop chopping the pot and either double up or go home. Go home, as it turns ot. Ritzie moved all in for 250,000 after Dan Shak opened to 175,000. Shak called with {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and was up against Ritzie's {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Spades}. There was something for everyone on a flop of {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. Shak made top pair for the high and the nut low draw; Ritzie made a gutshot straight draw and a heart flush draw. Ritzie was the one who needed to improve but couldn't do it on the {5-Clubs} turn or {7-Spades} river. He's out in 4th place.
