Jaffee Knocked Back Down

Sigurd Eskeland
Sigurd Eskeland

Omaha-8

Scott Seiver raised, Jared Jaffee called from the button, Matt Vengrin called from the small blind and Sigurd Eskeland called from the big blind. The four of them took a flop of {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Vengrin led out with a bet. Eskeland raised and Seiver folded. Jaffee made the call and Vengrin folded, leaving the action heads up to the turn.

The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and the river the {8-Spades}. Eskeland and Jaffee checked both the turn and the river. Eskeland tabled the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} to beat Jaffee's {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and won the pot. He moved up to 400,000 while Jaffee was knocked back down to 185,000.
