Magic Alone Can't Stop Aces from Flopping

Antonio Esfandiari was folded to in the small blind. He bumped it up to 750 and the player in the big blind went all in for about 2,500. Esfandiari snap called.

Esfandiari: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {j-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Esfandiari's opponent racked his knuckles against the table when the flop came {5-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Esfandiari couldn't find the case jack with a {4-Clubs} on the turn and {q-Hearts} on the river.

Cha Kling

Lauren Kling bumped action up when the player in the small blind limped and was met with a call. On a flop of {6-Spades}{j-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} the small blind checked and Kling shoved. The player in the big blind was very short stacked and called. Kling showed {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and her opponent tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} for middle pair. Kling was saved when the {10-Hearts} came on the turn and held through the {8-Spades} on the river.

Kling now has roughly 16,500 chips.

Esfandiari Runs Into Quads

On a flop that read {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} Antonio Esfandiari ended up all in against a player holding {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. We didn't see the exact hand, but Esfandiari was on a club draw and bricked when the turn card, the {3-Hearts}, sealed it for his opponent.

Esfandiari still on a good shape and over 30k.

Lauren Kling Keeps Climbing

Lauren Kling has been playing aggressively, recently knocking out two players at her table.

In the first hand, there were four callers to a hand with a raise coming from the player acting under the gun. When the flop came {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} the original raiser bet out 3,100 and Kling re-raised to 7,000. Action folded to the original raiser who four-bet putting himself all in and Kling called.

Kling: {5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Opponent: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Kling made a straight when the turn came {6-Spades}. The river was {q-Spades} and was of no help to her opponent.

Not long afterwards Kling called an opponent's all in on a flop reading {6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Kling showed {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and her opponent mucked before the turn and river could fall.
