A Bigger One Between Roumeliotis and Juanda

John Juanda
John Juanda

John Juanda fired 28,000 on the flop of {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs} into Alexander Roumeliotis. These two just played a sizable pot a few moments ago and we back in the ring to battle it out for another round. After some time in the tank, Roumeliotis called.

The turn brought the {5-Clubs} completing a possible flush draw and Juanda checked. Roumeliotis took his time and then placed out a bet of 37,000. Juanda tanked and made the call.

The river completed the board with the {2-Hearts} and Juanda checked. Roumeliotis tanked for some time with his decision of whether or not to check or bet, and if so how much. Eventually, he decided to fire 85,000. Juanda went back into the tank and after a few minutes, made the call.

Roumeliotis tabled the {A-Spades}{K-Spades}, but his top pair, top kicker was no good against the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} of Juanda for a set of queens. Juanda raked in the chips and moved to 415,000 while Roumeliotis dropped to 100,000.
