Quick Start for Somerville

Jason Somerville opened to 48,000 from the hijack seat and Daniel Negreanu called right behind him in the cutoff. The action folded behind them and the dealer flopped {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Somerville sat quietly, riffling chips with his right hand before finally sliding out 75,000 worth. Negreau requested that the dealer cut them down, she obliged and Negreanu made the call.

The turn brought the {a-Spades} and Somerville led again - this time for 135,000. Negreanu looked puzzled as he grabbed his water to take a swig. He sat on the decision for a second before finally folding.

Negreanu slipped to 738,000 chips and Somerville pushed just above 1,000,000.
