Welcome to Day 2!

Good afternoon and Welcome back to the 2010 World Series of Poker!

Today the Rio hosts a flurry of events, one of them being Day 2 of Event #53: $1,500 Limit Hold’em Shootout. Day 1 enticed 548 runners to play, some of whom busted from the $25,000 No-Limit event while others simply wanted to test their Limit mastery in a bracelet event.

Only 64 player remain, and they will be playing on eight eight-handed tables. Two of these players have already gone deep in a Limit event at this year's WSOP. Both Kirk Banks and Terrence Chan made Day 3 of Event #12. Chan made the final table finishing 3rd, while Banks fell just short and had to settle with a 12th place finish.

The action is set to kick off at 3 p.m. PST and we hope that you join us here at PokerNews.com for your exclusive live updates!
