Lester Doubles

Jason Lester raised to 24,000 from the button and Leandro Pimentel made the call in the small blind.

They took a flop of {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Lester's continuation bet of 24,000 was called by Pimentel. The turn brought the {3-Diamonds} and Pimentel checked again to Lester who moved all in for his last 72,000. Pimentel made the call.

Pimentel: {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Lester: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The river bricked the {2-Spades} and Lester takes it down with kings and tens to double up to 267,000. Pimentel is back to 121,000.

Pierson Doubles Through Dwan

Dmitry Stelmak and Tom Dwan limped into the pot before Stephen Pierson potted it from the small blind. Stelmak made the call before Dwan asked for a count on Pierson's remaining stack. He had 105,000 more behind which was enough to convince Dwan to make the call also.

They saw a flop of {2-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Pierson moved all in. Stelmak folded but Dwan made the call.

Pierson: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Dwan: {K-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

Pierson held aces and a flush draw but would need to improve as Dwan showed an unlikely two pair. However the turn was the {6-Clubs} to give Pierson the flush which didn't change on the {5-Diamonds} river.

Dwan takes a hit as he slips back to 740,000 with Pierson doubling to 340,000.

Ben Lamb Eliminated in 30th Place ($19,839)

Ben Lamb - 30th Place
Ben Lamb - 30th Place

Ben Lamb raised from the hijack and Julio Marines made the call in the cutoff position. They took a flop of {6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Lamb bet 41,000. Marines announced a raise of the pot and Lamb called off his last chips.

Lamb: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Marines: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Lamb held kings with a flush draw as Marines tabled a big straight draw wrap. Marines connected with the {4-Diamonds} turn to give him a straight which improved to a ten-high straight on the {10-Diamonds} river.

Lamb is out as Marines is now up to 780,000 and the chip lead.

Timothy Flanders Eliminated in 29th Place ($19,839)

Timothy Flanders - 29th Place
Timothy Flanders - 29th Place

Timothy Flanders was short-stacked but decided to limp in preflop from under the gun, before calling a bet on the flop and calling off what he had left on the turn against Ludovic Lacay. The board read {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and the cards were revealed as follows:

Flanders: {9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Lacay: {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Flanders held two pair but Lacay had a straight which held through the {6-Hearts} river. Flanders is out in 29th place as Lacay now sits with 580,000 chips.

Pimentel's Kings Crack Lester's Aces

Jason Lester raised to 24,000 before Leandro Pimentel made it 87,000 to play. Lester moved all in and Pimentel made the call.

Lester: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Pimentel: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

It was aces versus kings with Pimentel's tournament on the line but he found some help on the {J-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts}{J-Hearts} board to make a full house and double through. He's up to 280,000 with Lester down to 66,000.

Blackmore Doubles Through Marines

Ben Blackmore was all in with his tournament life on the line against Julio Marines in a preflop clash.

Blackmore: {A-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}
Marines: {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

Blackmore had the aces but he didn't use them as the board was spread {J-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades} to give Blackmore a surprising two pair, fours and deuces, to take it down. Blackmore doubles up to 345,000 with Marines back to 490,000.
