Master Not Happy With That River

With a short-stacked player all-in for his last 9,450 on a flop of {6-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Men "The Master" Nguyen and Mikhail Smirnov made the call.

The {8-Spades} hit the turn and both players checked to see the {Q-Hearts} repeat on the river. Nguyen checked and Smirnov fired 15,000 into the dry side pot. Nguyen quickly called and Smirnov showed {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a full house.

Nguyen jumped from his chair like he'd seen a ghost as he angrily slammed {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{K-Spades}{4-Diamonds} down onto the table.

"I had a set and a flush draw! He could only catch the queen!" shouted Nguyen. "I didn't raise him because he had a big stack!"

Nguyen slips to 65,000 while Smirnov stacks up 120,000.
