Lacay Straightens Out

Ludovic Lacay raised to 125,000 from the hijack seat, and he found two calls. One came from Miguel Proulx on the button and the other from big blind Trevor Uyesugi, and the three players went off to the flop.

It came {6-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {2-Hearts}, and Uyesugi checked. He would fold when Lacay bet 265,000, but Proulx called to proceed to the turn heads-up. The {A-Clubs} came next, and both men checked, and they did the same when the {5-Hearts} filled out the board on fifth street. Lacay showed {A-Spades} {3-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {6-Hearts}, and his six-high straight was the best hand, and the dealer pushed that into his corner.
