Bonavena Keeps Sinking

Salvatore Bonavena was our chip leader entering the day, but after a tough couple of levels he is near the bottom of our counts.

Bonavena opened to 265,000 from the cutoff, Tomer Berda called with the button, the blinds released and the dealer flopped {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Bonavena led for 500,000 and Berda called.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} and Bonavena slowed down, checking to Berda who slid out a tower of green T25,000 chips. The bet was 800,000, and after a moment for thought Bonavena folded his hand.

Bonavena slipped to 1,500,000 chips while Berda jumped up to 4,650,000.
