Rutter Steers to Victory

Stuart Rutter
Stuart Rutter

After a long stretch with no chip movement at all, suddenly an all in explosion. Julien Nuijten raised to 25,000 on the button, and Stuart Rutter made it 70,000. Then Nuijten moved all in, and Rutter called!

The few railers sleeping in their chairs jumped up and rushed the table.

Showdown
Rutter: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Nuijten: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, giving both players queens and threes, but Rutter took down the pot with his ace kicker. With that, Rutter locked up the fourth seat at tomorrow's (very soon to be today's) final table.
