Tad Jurgens Eliminated in 8th Place ($17,903)

Tad Jurgens - 8th Place
Tad Jurgens - 8th Place

Tad Jurgens lost a big pot after he folded to Raphael Zimmerman after the third draw that cost him most of his chips on the hand prior to this one. On this hand, which would be Jurgens' last, he raised all in for 15,000 from under the gun and his only customer was Raphael Zimmerman from the big blind. On the first draw, Zimmerman drew three and Jurgens drew one. On the second draw, Zimmerman drew two and Jurgens stood pat. On the final draw, Zimmerman stood pat and sent Jurgens into the tank for a few moments.

"I'm pat," he said, emphatically after tanking. Zimmerman then spread the {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and Jurgens jumped from his chair, tossing his hand into the muck. He was eliminated in 8th place and earned just under $18,000 for his finish. Zimmerman now has 550,000 in chips.
