A gentleman in mid position opened for 1,100 and Orel Hershiser called in the small blind to see a 
flop which both players checked.
They proceeded to the 
turn and Hershiser checked again. His opponent bet 1,050, and Hershiser now check-raised to 6,025. The other player, however, went all in, and Hershiser folded. He dropped right down to 9,000.
"Ace jack?" he asked. "Got to be ace jack. I folded two pair."
The 2010 WSOP just became less aesthetically pleasing as Shannon Elizabeth busted within just a couple of hands.

Jon Van Fleet may have started the day with a healthy stack of chips, but he just lost about 20,000 to an opponent who managed to double-up with the help of a runner-runner straight.
All the chips were in on the flop and Van Fleet was looking good with a set against his opponent's top pair.

Vanessa Rousso started the day with more than 100,000 chips in her stack but is now back down into five-figure territory. She was one of four players to the turn,

, action checked to the cutoff. Only Rousso called his bet of 2,300, and she couldn't beat the nut flush,

We've lost several notable early here in the Orange Section. Jeff Williams, George Danzer and Perry Friedman have all been eliminate. Williams got his stack in with pocket tens against pocket kings and actually flopped a ten. But his opponent caught running clubs to make a club flush on an unpaired board.
Friedman got his short stack into the middle with and was called by a player with

A player raised to 1,500 from under the gun and was called by Mori Eskandani as well as the small blind.

EPT London champion Michael Martin opened for 1,000 in mid position and big stack Robert Miller reraised to 3,200 in the cutoff. Back to Martin who made it 9,000, and then back to Miller, who went all in. Martin called all in for 16,000, and they were on their backs.

The button limped in and Phil Galfond made it 1,400 to go from the big blind. The button called and they saw a 
flop. Galfond led out for 1,300, the button raised to 8,200 and Galfond called. The on the turn brought checks from both players, as did the 
on the river.
Galfond turned over 
for a pair of eights and a busted straight draw, but the button had him with for top pair and took down the pot.
Galfond slipped to 86,000 in chips.
