Failla Wins Pot and Tilts

Will Failla just won a medium-sized pot with pocket aces and is not happy about it. He was sitting with the button and put in the third pre-flop raise after one player opened for 650 and a second re-raised to 3,050. Failla made the price of poker 9,500, quickly driving the first player out of the pot. The second player could be seen considering a call.

"Now I want you to think about it before you do anything stupid," said Failla. At that point his opponent called to an ace-high flop, {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. Both players checked. Failla's opponent also checked the {2-Diamonds} turn, drawing a bet of 12,000 from Failla. The other player called to the {9-Clubs} river, then check-folded {k-}{k-} to a bet of 15,000.

Failla collected the pot but was incredibly unhappy as he flashed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. "Bad flop for me," he said. The other player started laughing, prompting Failla to add, "He's laughing and I'm on tilt."
