Lauren's Got Your Number

We happened upon Lauren Kling's table just as she was calling a four-bet from the same fellow she tangled with in an earlier hand. They saw a {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and the action was checked to Kling in the hijack. She bet 5,600 and her opponent called from UTG. The turn was the {4-Hearts}. Mr. UTG checked, Kling bet 13,625 and she got a call. The river fell the {Q-Diamonds} and after Mr. UTG checked a third time, Kling moved all-in for 21,100.

"You hit your set of kings. You call that (four-bet), you have to have K-K or Q-Q," Kling's opponent said as he agonized over his decision. "I feel like you hit your set."

"Will you show if I fold?" he asked. Kling shook her head.

"You've had my number the whole night. The four flush, now a set of kings?"

After a dwell that took the length of 2.5 segments on SportsCenter (playing on the nearby TV), he open-folded {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}.

Kling is up to 72,300.
